MADRID HASH HOUSE HARRIERS PRESENTS ASTURIAS ‘08 WHEN? July 12th and 13th Where? In Asturias, or more precisely in and around Nava. Journey time is about four and a half hours by car from Madrid. Half an hour’s drive from Asturias international airport. Why? Why not? And it’s been three years since Moonie and Sue Lawley arranged the last Asturias bash. We had a great time. What do you get? Booze: It’s Cider Festival weekend in Nava and they need lots of help to drink the stuff. They also have beer, wines etc etc Runs: 1. Magnificent mountain run on Saturday in the Peña Mayor in Bimenes. Long, short and medium variants. 2. Atlantic ocean beach run near Villaviciosa on Sunday. Grub: You won’t go hungry or disappointed by the food in Asturias. On Saturday night we have dinner together in one of the best restaurants in Nava (El Titi): traditional fare, good wine, beer and liquor. For Sunday there is a wide variety of good seafood restaurants. The only question is: How much do we want to spend? T-Shirt: specially designed for the event Where to sleep? Some people may want to lie down for a while. To avoid driving late at night it’s best to stay in Nava. We have reccied and can recommend two hotels for you at about 50€ per night, sharing: 1.
