Bus: 712 or 725 from Plaza de Castilla, it leaves the intercambiador at 12:15, ~18-20 minute journey.

Bus: 716 or 724 from Plaza de Castilla, it leaves the intercambiador at 12:30, ~18-20 minute journey.

713, 722 & 726 buses also bring you to the same stop, any choice is good.

Driving directions (from Cuzco):

Go north on Castellana & turn left to the M-607/Colmenar Viejo.

Stay on the M-607/Colmenar Viejo until exit 15-Valdelatas.

Turn left once you’re at the service road, the car park should be visible from there.

Location: La Moraleja, golf course & Valdefuentes area.

Bus: 155B from Plaza de Castilla, 1 every hour, so it leaves the intercambiador at 12:35 (dársena 2, isla 1, level -3), 20 minute journey, get off at the last stop right at the Car Park (no further walking required)

 

Driving directions (from Cuzco):

Go north on Castellana & turn right to the M-30.

Stay on the left to go to M-11.

Take M-11’s exit number 2 towards “Estación de Hortaleza”.

Now 7 roundabouts in a row, these are the exits in order: 2nd, 2nd,1st, 2nd ,2nd, 1st, 1st.

You should be at the Car Park after all that nonsense.

Location: Parque de las Colinas, Hoyo de Manzanares area.

Directions by public transport:

Bus: 611 from the intercambiador in Moncloa. (Isla 2, dársena 29. Bus leaves the station at 11:45. Takes 45 mins. It takes you to the town of Hoyo de Manzanares. Get off at Pza. Nuestra Sra. Rosario – Pº Mayor (church, aka here: https://goo.gl/maps/m9kQMeLyStp) and phone 669147655 to arrange a lift.

 

Driving directions (from Cuzco):

Take the A6 to km. 27 and continue straight along the via de servicio, direction Hoyo de Manzanares etc. After about 1km turn right following signs for Hoyo de Manzanares, M618. Continue on the M618 for about three kilometres. At the roundabout (just after km. 20) at the Cepsa filling station do a U-turn, going back towards Torrelodones, and after about 400m turn right into car park.

Alternatively, from the M 607 and Colmenar Viejo, take the M618 to PK 20ish and turn right into car park.

The “Pied Pipers of Retamar” R*n

Location: Retamar Bridge, Las Rozas

Directions by public transport:

No restrictions for access on foot: from the roundabout on M 505 just go cross the bridge FF to CP.

 

From Moncloa intercambiador dársena 4 the best connection is by Bus 628, it leaves at 11:40 (~39 min ride + 15 minute walk to CP) as it goes to Cantizal. The stop where to get off would be at the crossing of Avenida Lazarejo with calle Kálamos. right at the corner. (https://goo.gl/maps/AvsiTc7QCfP2)

As you get off the bus on Av.Lazarejo nr. 10 take the broad lane of calle Kálamos going down and walk to the roundabout on M 505 some 600 meters and straight across the bridge to CP.

 

The closest train station could be either Las Rozas or El Barrial (Pozuelo) then a bus to Cantizal (622, 625,…)

 

Driving directions (from Cuzco):

Take A6 heading for El Escorial, once on M 505 go across 3 roundabouts. After the last one take exit signed Molino de la Oz, turn around under the highway as if changing direction back to Madrid. As you come up and off the ramp and onto M 505 again,  take immediate exit right signed CAMINO and FF through this tarmac road to CP on Puente de Retamar (Roman bridge). Ojo!  Cars can only access the CP from this direction, that is from Molino de la Hoz or Galapagar (the bridge has out-going direction only). .2

Run map: CP is sunny, there’s a very close area with shade & tables although it can get packed with cars. Run is half sunny & half with shades, river may be difficult to cross if there’s a lot of water.
