Directions by public transport:

Bus: 611 from the intercambiador in Moncloa. Isla 2, dársena 29. Bus every hour at a
quarter to the hour (so 11:45?). Takes 30/40 mins.

Stay on the bus until you get to the church of Hoyo de Manzanares then walk out of town in the direction of Torrelodones.

Driving directions (from Larry´s):

Take the A6 to km. 27 (newish exit) and continue straight along the via de
servicio, direction Hoyo de Manzanares etc. After about 1km turn right
following signs for Hoyo de Manzanares, M618. Continue to Hoyo on the
M618 and turn right in the town immediately before Km. 18, signposted
Cerca Morra (40.617368, -3.904872). FFCP (40.616825, -3.899765).
Alternatively, from the M 607 and Colmenar Viejo, take the M618 to
km.18 , turn left and FFCP.

The “Return to El Gurugú” R*n

Directions by public transport:

Get the Cercanías (C2/C7 – direction Guadalajara this goes from Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Atocha) to Alcalá de Henares). Once in Alcalá it´s a 5-10 minutes walk to Vía Complutense 51 where the bus stop to El Gurugú is. On Sunday the 232 bus leaves from there at 12:25/12:30. It takes about 15 minutes to get to El Gurugú. The bus stop in El Gurugú is just before the roundabout on the map (i.e. the roundabout where the M-300 meets M-204.) F.F.F.C.P.

 

Driving directions (from Larry´s):

Take the A2 Hwy and exit @ Km.23 (Alcala de Henares / M300 Arganda).
At the 2nd Roundabout take the 1st exit (M300 Arganda / Loeches).
Travel on the said M300, going straight on at a whole slew of roundabouts and up the wibbly-wobbly hill, for approx. 5.3Kms.
At the top of the hill, take the major roundabout 2nd exit, followed by an almost immediate mini-roundabout 2nd exit (M213 Anchuelo).
After approx.250m, at the bus stop access, do that iffy go right to go left turn and enter El Gurugu urby…F.F.F.C.P.

Restaurant afterwards in nearby pueblo that has a 12€ “menu del dia” and does raciones.
Given the soggy weather forecast, the hares strongly advise you pack a
TOWEL & change of SHOES & SOCKS!!!
Oh, and for those of you who could be arsed to read this far, umbrellas
are a fantastic invention too!!

Train to Parla Renfe (line C-4 Blue, stops at N.Ministerios, Sol & Atocha)
Bus 461, 462, 469 & 471 from Parla.
Alternatively, Clara NN (and others we hope) can randomly ferry hashers
from Parla Renfe station by car.

– Take the M30 South.
– Follow signs for A-5/Badajoz/A- 6/A Coruña/Gta. Pirámides
– Take the A-42 exit toward Plaza F. Ladreda/Toledo
– Continue onto A-42
– Take exit from 17 toward Poligono Industrial
– At the roundabout, take the 1st exit
– At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Calle Pandorado
– At the roundabout, take the 1st exit
