Directions by public transport:

Train:

Take the Cercanias from Principe Pio (metro line 10) – direction Villalba Get off at 1st stop-ARAVACA. There is a trains at 12:15.

It´s a 1km walk to the car park from there. FFCP.

Bus:

Green Bus 658 leaves Moncloa. This goes from Darsena 35, isla 3 and departs around 12:30 on Sunday. Trip time 10-12 minutes. Get off at the 8th stop (Arroyo Pozuelo – Acebuche) which is just before the roundabout which is the junction of Calle Arroyo de Pozuelo and Cuesta del Galván. Go up Cuesta del Galván until the end then take a left……The total walking distance is approx 500m. Note that this will not be marked with flour!

Driving directions:

Take exit 9 off of the A6 from either direction onto M500-Ctra de Castilla. After 400M take the 1st exit 1AB. 300M later take the 2nd right signed,”urbanizaciones Aravaca”. STAY TO THE LEFT AT IMMEDIATE SPLIT. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto ,”Cuesta de Galan”. 300M up the hill to a T where you turn left for 100M to the CP.

Directions by public transport:

Bus: The 193 Bus (isla 3, nivel -1, dársena 37) out of Plaza Castilla travels to El Vellon..It takes just under an hour to get there. There is a bus on Sunday at 11am. The next bus is at 12:15 but only goes as far as Pedrezuela which means you would need to arrange a pickup by a driver from there……

Get off at the last stop (which is Calle Pozonuevo) and establish yourself on the M129 road and track north…F.F.F.C.P
(Approx. 500m)…

Driving directions:

A1 Burgos Hwy and exit @ Km.45 (M129 El Vellon).
Take the off ramp roundabout 1st exit towards El Vellon village…
Travel on the M129, straight on at two roundabouts and just past El Vellon…

Avda. de America / A2 Hwy. and exit @ Km.08 ( Service Road / Canillejas )

Within 50mts take the exit and loop around for approx.500mts.

At the traffic light controlled roundabout “Ricardo Velazquez Bosco”…take the 2nd exit

Almost immediately turn left into C/Dr. Zamenhof ( prior to the Melia Avda.America Hotel ).

Without Wheels:

Slews of 114 Buses out of Avda.de America Bus Station and alight @ Parada 4434 Dr.Zamenhof…F.F.F.C.P.

Slews of 146 Buses out of Callao, which generally wander up C/Alcala, and alight @ Parada 4434…F.F.F.C.P.

Green Line Metro and alight @ Suanzes  station…walk through Parque Los Molinos in a right hand diagonal direction ( totally ignoring all flour dumped hieroglyphics ) and exit @ the Dr. Zamenhof gate…F.F.F.C.P.

Restaurant missed ‘erections:

El Valle Hermosa, Calle Noray 5. Alameda de Osuna., 28042.

Pick up the said 114 Bus from Dr.Zamenhof and alight @ Parada 1296…immediately cross over the road and the restaurant is approx.50mts, located on the corner of Calle Noray..

A2 BCN Hwy. and exit @ Km.23 ( M300 Alcala de Henares ).

1st Roundabout 1st Exit ( M203 Mejorada del Campo).

1st exit @ Km.09 ( M224 Torres de Alameda ).

Enter Torres village and mandatory turn right @ the Crossroads.

Almost immediately “do a 180” around the roundabout, coming back on your self…pass the Crossroads again and almost immediately exit right ( M225 Valverde de Alcala ).

Go through Valverde village and carefully merge left onto the ( M204 Nuevo Baztan ).

Go through cute Nuevo Baztan village and just exiting ( opp.Bus stop ) turn left ( M219 Olmeda de las Fuentes ).

Follow the wibbly-wobbly M219 down thro’ the Arroyo and @ the 1st roundabout take the 2nd exit ( M234 Olmeda de las Fuentes ).

Travel approx. 700m and carefully turn left onto a car friendly dirt track into the “Centro de Interpretacion”…F.F.F.C.P.

-261 Bus out of Avda.de America / Canillejas Bus stations, go through the extremely cute village of Olmeda and alight at the last Bus Stop.

Advisory! Bearing in mind the rural setting of the village…it might behove you to have speaks with your favourite Wheels…buy them lunch, get them drunk, offer them sexual favours…or all of the above!!!

Directions by public transport:

As far as the Hare is aware…there should be a relative slew of 191 / 193 Buses out of the Plaza Castilla Station, with a Bus Stop located more or less adjacent to the Poligno Industrial…and a 100m walk back to the MH3 Car Park.

Some additional public transport information: 

Buses 191 and 193 both leave Plaza de Castilla on Sunday at 12:15 from dársenas 36/37 which are in Isla 3 on Nivel -1 and take 35-45 minutes.

The buses go through the pueblo and out the other side, over a bridge and then turn right at the roundabout at the start of the Poligono Industrial (Industrial Estate). The bus stop is almost immediately after the roundabout on the right. Get off there and walk back to the car park.

A1 Burgos Hwy. and exit @ Km.36 (San Agustin de Guadalix Poligno Industrial).

3rd exit @ the Off-Ramp roundabout and crossover the A1.

1st exit @ the 2nd roundabout and wander on for approx. 500m.

3rd exit at the 3rd roundabout and almost immediately turn right onto a relatively car friendly dirt track…F.F.F.C.P.
