Interurbano Bus no. 686 leavesMoncloa station (Isla 2, dársena/platform 28) at 12:20. Journey time around 20 minutes. Stop at the last stop of Gabriel Enríquez de la Orden street (https://goo.gl/maps/2SNRXNAjft12) righ before “Los Sauces” School. If you miss a stop it won’t matter too much, you can walk back. When you stop, continue straight till the end of Gabriel Enríquez de la Orden & go right in the last one, then straight to the CP for a total of 15min walk (the road will turn left at the end & become a dirt track, follow it). Cars will follow that road so you might get a lift too.
There’s also the possibility of a Cercanías train to “Las Matas” but it leaves you 3km away from the CP. Better ask a driver to pick you up if possible.
Driving directions (from Cuzco):
Go to the A6 road (A Coruña)
Take exit 26 toward Las Matas/Los Peñascales. Continue straight at the 1st roundabout.
At the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit. (Gabriel Enríquez de la Orden street)
Continue on that path until the end, then turn right & also continue straight. (Av de Pinares)
The CP will be at the end, after the road turns into a dirt track & turns left. FFCP
Hashing is NOT a guided activity, nor is it led by professionals. If you take part in a Hash run or walk you do so of your own free will, voluntarily and fully aware that it is not guided. The Madrid Hash House Harriers merely schedules the activity and publishes details of the same.
We would remind you that running, whether that be in the mountains, outdoors in general or in urban areas, entails a number of inherent risks depending on the terrain. The mountain environment particularly is uncontrollable and can at times be hostile. By taking part in this activity you accept those risks.
Each participant must be aware of their own physical condition and must decide whether or not to take part based on the details of the activity provided. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should not take part unless they are sure that they will be able to perform the activity without placing themselves or others at risk. Each participant is responsible for wearing/carrying with them any equipment that they may need to take part in the activity safely (including water, a cap and sun-cream in hot weather, clothing appropriate to the conditions, be that hot, cold or wet). They must also heed any instructions given to them by the organisers. All participants understand that they bear their own responsibility should they fail to heed or comply with the above obligations.
