-Without wheels:
Recommended to approach your favourite wheels with the promise of sexual favours?
The Ciempozuelos train station, on the C3 line, is most adjacent to the M404.
Weather looks good for a picnic, but there are several easy walking distance bars around, doling out the Hash favourites of “chips with everything”.

-Without Wheels:

The 212 bus leaves the bus station (well, park) beside Canillejas metro at 12 noon on Sunday. Bus first goes through town of Paracuellos de Jarama, then through some countryside, then enters Urbanizacion Los Berrocales del Jarama, very soon after get off at stop Plaza de Paracuellos 47.The journey takes about 35 minutes.

Weather still looking good, so a green site picnic is probably on the cards, although I tend to swither towards a “Beer and Burgers” pub concept.

Run No.: 2106

Date: Sunday 21st June 2015

Time: 13:00 (1pm)

Location: El Gurugu

Directions by public transport:

Options are to be collected, by pre-arranged Wheels, from Alcala La Garena train station

Pre-arranged Wheels from “Larry’s Bar”

A whole slew of buses leaving Alcala bus station for El Gurugu / Anchuelo, etc.,

Note from the Editor: Those are the hare´s words. In fact, most of the 6/7 bus routes that stop near El Gurugu either don´t run on Sundays or are highly infrequent. The only viable option (as far as I can see) is the 232 bus which leaves Alcalá (Vía Complutense so that´s 5-10 mins walk from the Cercanías station) at 12:10 and gets to El Gurugu around 12:30. That probably involves getting a C7 train from Atocha at 11:12 or a C2 at 11:22.

Driving Directions:

Take the A2 Hwy and exit @ Km.23 (Alcala de Henares / M300 Arganda).
At the 2nd Roundabout take the 1st exit (M300 Arganda / Loeches).
Travel on the said M300, going straight on at a whole slew of roundabouts and up the wibbly-wobbly hill, for approx. 5.3Kms.
At the top of the hill, take the major roundabout 2nd exit, followed by an almost immediate mini-roundabout 2nd exit (M213 Anchuelo).
After approx.250m, at the bus stop access, do that iffy go right to go left turn and enter El Gurugu urby…F.F.F.C.P.
